We are incredibly fortunate to have the greatest team we’ve ever had in our 10 year history. Despite gloomy economic news, we’ve been growing steadily during the past couple of years and the time has come to hire again. Our growth is a result of having a simply amazing team filled with passionate and professional members. We’re still a small business with a team of six at our Los Angeles office. We’d like to find the right person or two as we grow to 7 or 8 people in the upcoming months.

What we are looking for:

Passion - If you read this blog, odds are you already have the passion for the JDM tuning ethos that we represent with everything we do. If you are not passionate about the things we are passionate about as a company you will never survive within our organization. We are obsessive over quality/high end car tuning, just as this blog would indicate.

Professionalism - We continue to distance ourselves from our competition because of our professionalism. We expect excellence from our teammates so a serious work ethic and willingness to learn is mandatory. Past experience is valuable but not required. What is required is the desire to be the best at what you do and the willingness to work hard to achieve excellence.

Consultation - We are consultants, this is how we do our selling. We are not here to push products, we are here to provide solutions to our clients desires. We have access to essentially every tuning part there is, so there is no need to force a product on someone who doesnt want or need it. The ability to communicate, understand our clients needs and to offer relevant solutions is the key to being a good sales person within our organization. If you feel you can passionately and knowledgeably sell parts for us using a consultation technique that can provide value to our clients then you’ll be a great candidate.

Willingness to Learn: We value your experience you already have, but if you’re going to work with us you need to be ready and able to take our training and implement it. We are not nearly as interested in what you know as we are interested in what you are capable of learning. I can not reinforce this point strongly enough, simply you will fail if you are unable to learn and grow at a rapid and consistent rate.

Location: Our office is in downtown Los Angeles. We have a comfortable and modern loft office a couple of blocks from LA Live in the middle of the city. Anyone who works with us will need to live within a short commute to work or be willing to relocate. We prefer local candidates for the job. If you are not local, you will only be considered if you are willing to go through the interview process as a local candidate would (resume submission, phone interview(s) are the next step, then eventually an in person interview if you are qualified (you’d need to visit us in Los Angeles at your own expense if travel/lodging is required).

Future: It takes a considerable amount of time and growth to reach the level of excellence we require from any member of our team. We are only interested in applicants that want to make a long term career out of this shared passion we all have. We’re a long term, future focused company and we are not looking for temporary positions for only a couple of years. If you are not a long term candidate I can guarantee it will be a disappointment for you and a waste of your time applying. Things don’t really start to get going until after your first year of employment.

Pay: Nobody gets monetarily rich off of this JDM industry. Rich in experience yes, rich in your bank account…not so much. Sad but true fact about working in this particular part of the industry. If you want a fulfilling life doing something you believe in, living your own dreams and loving every day of it then this is a great job for you. If you just want to make a lot of money, another job will suit you better. Our goal is to pay the most competitively in the industry, and to offer a sustainable lifestyle which can be enjoyed long term. Our company’s responsibility is to preserve and grow the Japanese and high quality tuning industry though good business practices and educating clients.
