As the newest contributor to The Real JDM, I find it fitting that I give a brief introduction of myself.

My name is Stanley Ku. I am 19 and am currently a student at UCLA majoring in Electrical Engineering. I don’t remember when my passion for cars started but it really took off about 4 years ago and it has been steadily growing ever since. I’m a fan of all kinds of cars: new, old, vintage, classic, Japanese, European, supercar, sports car, race car, hot rod, concept car, and everything else. I have an appreciation for all types of automobiles.

As some of you know, I am the blogger of http://thekucars.wordpress.com/. It’s a blog that I started around a year ago for fun. The blog has steadily grown, attracting more and more visitors. It is through blogging that Ben and I came across each other. But, I actually have been reading The Real JDM since it was a column in Modified.

Lately, I have been wanting to do more/be more involved with respect to car blogs and the industry in general. With perfect timing, this opportunity presented itself and much thanks to Ben for that. I am excited to take part in The Real JDM and I hope my contributions will make it bigger and better.

Lastly, I want to give credit to the other fours contestants. I enjoyed reading all of them and I felt that each of the articles offered a unique perspective.
