We’ve been modifying the GT-RR white demo car somewhat continuously since SEMA ended and the car received such wonderful critical acclaim. This year we’ve kept the car relatively quiet from the public’s eye as we continue to build it (aside from a few older photo shoots turning into magazine covers).
We’re doing a few modifications which we cant discuss yet, but in the meantime I wanted to share two awesome modifications which we can talk about now.
First off, the lead-in picture showcases one of our favorite modifications, the Esprit large front mount intercooler and dry carbon intercooler duct. These modifications are as beautiful as they are functional and for high HP GT-Rs an upgraded intercooler like this is essential. Although we sold out fast of our earlier stock of the Esprit pieces, we have a lot more stock due to arrive shortly to fulfill demand of this key modification (we actually have the dry carbon duct in stock now by the way)
Here you can see the true size of the large front mount:
The other awesome modification I wanted to feature is the Top Secret suspension with height adjustment on the fly by remote control. Check out the clean installation in the trunk to keep the trunk space usable.
What makes this modification so great is that it offers the benefits of an air ride suspension without the downside in performance. The system we used in this car keeps the stock shocks and their electronic setting. New springs and collars were installed, with helper springs for street comfort and height adjustability for the pre-set ride height. But the star of the show is the cup kit which allows for 3″ of lift at the press of a button. A 4 button remote control is used to set the front and rear height (front up, front down, rear up, rear down buttons). This way the expensive custom carbon fiber Amuse front diffuser wont be at risk when this car enters into a parking garage!
Bigger modifications will be discussed in upcoming weeks…until then hopefully this will keep everyone entertained.
