Honda Modulo released a concept S2000 at Tokyo Auto Salon. Personally, I thought the car was really ugly…the chunky design reminded me of a Lamborghini Reventon, except a totally uncool and ugly one. The rear of this S2000 is especially awful and I’m glad to not be showing it to you.

However there was something totally amazing about this S2000 that almost nobody caught. Look at the bottom picture at the gauges. Being an S2000 enthusiast and owner, this blew me away. They replaced the entire cluster with a full LED screen that has two modes, the classic tach-centric view that S2000 owners already know and love, plus this split view which is a more conventional readout, with the ability to toggle between the two totally different views. That cluster totally makes the car special to me, its a product that I’d love to get for my S2000! Unfortunately Honda Modulo never releases any products…oh well.
