Keeping a schedule of coming back to the hotel and midnight and uploading new products to websites can take its toll…I’ve been working off of 4 hours of sleep a night, at best. As a result, I’m going to delay my blog posts detailing my finds at Tokyo Auto Salon until I return to Los Angeles and I can properly scan my photos and re-size for the blog.
There is A LOT to talk about. As always my intention is not to post anything you might expect or have already seen…I try to keep this blog all about new perspective, at least the best I can. Rest assured I probably have about 30 blog posts I can write about unique things I’ve found at TAS that will be of interest to most of you.
So anyway, stay tuned to the blog soon. In the meantime, I have one more blog post coming out in a day or so that I had in the can (I put it together in my massive writing spree at around 5am before I left to Japan in which I wrote all of the other posts in the past 10 days aside from the TAS post).
PS: To the guy who said that some of my posts (specifically my Ferrari 550 post) was fluff and too surface level to properly explain why they are cool:
1. I agree with you, in an ideal world I would say a lot more and add more detail to explain why. Your point is well understood by me.
2. I didnt and I wont in the future most likely…REASON: I’m not a writer by profession, case in point is that post you commented on was written at 4am in a rush to leave to Japan. I write this blog usually after working 18 hour days. If you are expecting magazine type content/depth of features, find a writer who’s job is to write, who is paid for it and who has time to research and write a proper editorial feature. I dont hide it , I’m honest, I write this blog as fast as I can (because its the only way it will happen at all) and I share as many diverse points and perspectives I can. Whatever you like on my blog, google it and find other info for yourself, if you find good info then please add it to the comments to share with others…this blog, or specifically my posts on it is simply just a catalyst for ideas. Where the ideas go from there is up to you, the reader.
In the end, let me say this…I run multiple businesses, prepare demo cars, handle sales, customer service, and whatever else might come up in a given day…and I still find time to write 350 or so blog posts in a year. I hope you enjoy the blog, its here for you and because of you…but as much as I’d like to write in depth articles, I just dont have the time (and in some cases, the technical ability to adequately cover topics without doing more research to gather facts). Everything I write on this blog I write off of the top of my head in one take, its the only way I’d have time to write so many posts on so short time.
Thats all…given the circumstances of my obligations in my life, I’m amazed I can write as much as I do here every day. I’m gonna keep at it, 2009 is looking exciting already and I have a lot to share with you all.
