The automotive magazine world is crumbling…first Turbo went down, then Sport Compact Car, and over the weekend Modified Luxury & Exotic also got the axe. The scary thing is I don’t think the bad news is over yet for the magazine industry…
The automotive world as a whole is suffering tremendously, but perhaps the hardest hit are the magazines and media which rely on aftermarket company advertising dollars to survive. If hardly anyone is making any money these days, it is mighty hard for any magazine to squeeze advertising dollars out of non-profitable businesses.
