Its not too often that I use this blog for hiring…in fact this is the first time.

Knowing that a lot of JDM car enthusiasts are also involved in technology and graphic design, I figure there are many of you out there who might be looking for freelance work. It will be part time and with flexible hours.

I’m looking for a great graphic designer and also perhaps a CSS/HTML guy/gal. Projects would be designing websites primarily, but possibly other things as well. If you can do graphic design + CSS/HTML all in one, thats a huge plus, but if you’re just damn good at web design I can work with that.

Knowing that there will probably be many applications, I’m open to the following:

1. Paid Freelance, hourly rate - if you’re a very skilled professional with a solid portfolio, this is a possibility

2. Paid Freelance, hourly rate as trade for parts - again if you’re a professional at what you do and also a current or future client of my companies, we can work out a trade of your time for JDM tuning parts.

3. Unpaid or Paid Internship - Perhaps you love JDM and want to say that you designed for Smoky Nagata (we are going to rebuild the Top Secret website), perhaps you’re looking to grow your portfolio, perhaps you just want to help us out…

I’ll end up choosing the best mix of skill and value. (sorry but we’re not flush with cash so we do need to find a good deal, although never to the detriment of quality).

I know there’s a lot of talent out there. Rather than look on craigslist or other places, I’d rather look directly to those with a passion for what we do. That’s why I’m posting this here.

Whoever I work with will also at some point be redesigning this very blog you’re reading. We all know that it needs a redesign!
