In today’s widespread news, Top Gear USA got an official press release and announcement. The rumors have been buzzing about the popular UK show coming to the states for about a year now, but now its official. No Clarkson, Hammond or May. Instead they have Adam Corolla, Tanner Faust and Eric Stromer.
I really liked the early rumors that they were trying to get Jay Leno and Jerry Seinfeld. Hopefully the three final sections for hosts will result in good television. I just hope the production value is as good as the UK version which has some of the best visuals and music selections of any car related media in history.
I’m glad NBC is trying to push car culture a step further. Time will tell if it succeeds…
