EDIT BY BEN: Here’s another post by Patrick Callahan (dont get it confused with the shop Bozz Performance which is unrelated and no longer around, Bozz Speed is a Japanese company whereas Bozz Performance was a California company)

A while back, Ben posted up one of his favorite cars from back in the day. I was a bit later to the JDM party than he was, but the Bozz Speed EVO you see here had me completely sold very quickly. Sport Compact Car did two articles on the car. The first is here, but the second article totally captivated me. Dave Coleman, a journalist whose perspective and writing style I particularly enjoy, flew to Tsukuba to test the car when it was 300lbs lighter and fitted with a much more responsive turbo. The dry carbon hood and staggered rims with the same size tires were awesome, but the description of Dave’s on-track experience was what cemented this car into my dreams. In a recent edition of Ask Dave, he actually stated that it was still the best car he had ever driven. The car actually appears to be for sale, but for now it will remain a part of my dreams.
